There hasn't been a lot of
good news to report recently as we've been going through some early season
growing pains over the past few weeks.
Lots of factors have contributed to where we are right now record wise
and I won't waste any time trying to make excuses as we refuse to do so as a
team. To say that we've been frustrated
would be an understatement. After a few
good practices last week and some perspective, I hope our performance against
Bowdoin is a sign of good things to come.
Up in Brunswick we played
with great energy and confidence, both of which have been missing so far this
spring. Nate Gaudio
played one of the best games of his career and finished the day with 19
saves. We swarmed ground balls and were
able to create a few unsettled goals that have also proved elusive over the
past month.
We still have a long way
to go at both ends of the field but the win on Saturday is the first step in
our group believing in each other and what we're capable of this year.
