1.  Equipment

a. Erin has ordered reversible jerseys.  The jerseys will have the Middlebury Alumni moniker on them.  He will be shipping out this year's game shorts.  The shorts were new this season and Erin wants to sell us the shorts.  They are great shorts and are "almost new".  This would be a great fund raiser for the College team.  As a backup for the new alumni jerseys (in case they don't arrive in Vail on time) he will also be shipping the team's home and away game jersey's.   If you bought a game jersey last year please bring it as a backup.  However, our plan is to use the new Middlebury Alumni reversible jersey's.

b. IMPORTANT:  We are individually responsible for all other gear.  You must bring your own helmet, gloves, pads, stick, shoes, etc., etc.

2.  Traveling list

Last year I compiled a list of everyone traveling to Vail, including wives, girlfriends, children (with ages), other family and friends.  It was a great resource.  I would like to do the same this year.  Please email me the names and ages of your traveling party members.  Of course, you don't have to include your wife's age!  If you are traveling with the same group as last year, you don't have to email me, I'll just add a year to the age of the kids.  PLEASE do this - it is a great list to share with everyone and it helps make us a tighter "family".  Also, when my wife asks me your wife's name, I will be able to respond!

3.  Rosters

A bunch of guys came through in a big way and our rosters are in great shape.  We have had to take on a few non-Midd players, but they are all friends of Club members.  To see our current rosters go to our web site:  http://www.middleburylacrosse.org

4.  Altitude

a.  If you have ever suffered or have fear of suffering from altitude sickness, please review the materials I have posted on our web site.

b.  In addition you have to worry about dehydration.  Therefore, you need to drink lots and lots of water.  If your piss isn't clear, you're not drinking enough water.  Start drinking lots of water on your flight to Denver.  In addition, you should start to decrease your coffee dependence.  Coffee is a strong diuretic and should be avoided.  So is alcohol, but I'm not about to tell you guys to drink less!

5.  Conditioning

Now that you have completed or have nearly completed phase I of your training program (The Interval Training Program), it is time to move on to the next phase.   I have posted the details for a 2 week agility/sprinting program.  If you haven't been doing your interval training then at least do 2 - 3 weeks of this program.
