Bobo:

You are unbelievable!  Thanks for the best turnout ever!  Vicki, Elise and I
thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, as usual!  However, you and Kemp need to get
your details right!  It's Burchard, class of '81.  Kemp, Scheufe and Noodles
are one year smarter than me.  Ouch!!

I'm in the class of 1981 with Goofy Gifford, who bounced back after taking a
brutal cheap shot and having his head handed to him (I was ready to drop the
gloves for you, Goof!).  Old Goof subsequently streaked down the middle of
the field, from way downtown (according to attackman standards), looked off
all of his buddies, and cranked a blazer, off the bounce, under the cross
bar.  You forgot that detail, Ebuckethead.  Every goal counted with the Midd
SuperMasters.  That one was worth a few bucks in travel money!

Also, in the class of '81, Steve Clancy gave a stellar rookie performance at
the high altitude, just ask his lady!  I think he popped his cherry up there!
Now we need to get old Tone Dog Trace and Big Tiny Dave Storrs to Vail next
year to round out the class of 81!

Thanks to Roy Heffernan for his Great Heart when we need to turn things
around, and to Duane for winning ALL the face-offs in the world.  Sarge was
Not to be denied, he Came to Play!  And Beau's goal was an Inspiration to us
all, only slightly less so than his beautifully, ferocious Moving Picks.
But, it was when Scheufe, Kemp, and the Panther D decided that Vail is
Middlebury's house (and NOBODY walks in unannounced), that things really
turned around for the SuperMasters!  Scheufe, you are the Rock!!

Too bad about the weather with the Masters, but we all very much appreciated
your support in our games!  Next year is yours, baby!!  Maybe we should all
go team Guttman, and kick butt like our Midd Elite team?

Burch

PS:  Wheels, Noodles, and Laddy, just remember, fat attackmen rule!!
