A quick note to the group from a Vail rookie...I can't tell you how great it was to lace em up with all you boys again (Masters), and to meet / catch up with the Supermasters crew.  In some ways, it was like being back at Midd again.  Being on the same field with teammates Reills, Chaps, Scotty, Zeck, Chad, Willy, Chorske, Johnny Mac, and Miles really brought me back to the Glory Days.  Getting the chance to play with fellow Panthers from a few years before us was great as well.  Guys like Chafe, Peta, Andy, Kevin, and Chip.  I was also lucky to be able to hang with one of my buddies from Tabor (John Corsi), and meet some of the other non-Midd recruits.  Being coached by EQ, and having Pete as our manager (with the clutch "wet towel" on the hot days) was, again, an experience of a lifetime.  And although OC Grube was on the sidelines as a spectator at our games, you could hear him coaching as well.

I enjoyed watching the Supermasters games, and now I really know guys like Roy and Mike Heff, Duane, Bobo, Sarge, Burch, Wheels, Will, Kemper, Scheuf, Ray, etc...

As for the lax itself, we couldn't catch a break.  The Long Island crew beat up on us pretty good in that first game, but then they went on to win the whole shootin' match.  We should have won the second game against Hollywood. We played well, but let it slip away.  The Prudential game was ours, and just when it started getting fun...Mother Nature stepped in and put a stop to that.  The future is bright though.

The Vail Experience was everything I'd heard about and then some.
