Dear Alumni Lacrosse Team,
Eileen Sims and Kelly Kerner have returned from Vail with wonderful stories of
your week in the mountains. It sounds like the tournament was another
rousing success and a great example of the strong fabric that unites us all in
our shared Middlebury experiences.
My schedule and the conclusion of a very successful Bicentennial Campaign kept
me from joining you this year. That said, I hope to be there in 2002 for
another rendition with Pete of the Park School Song and that unforgettable
favorite, "Dinah".
Please accept my sincere thanks for all you have done to help the College along
the way and for your continued enthusiasm for reuniting each year in the Rocky
Mountains. Your loyalty to Middlebury and to each other is a powerful
example of why we are all so fortunate to be part of this family.
All good wishes from Vermont,
John McCardell
