I mailed a $1500 check to the Vail Shootout Tournament organizers this morning. Fortunately, we have $1839.72 in our checking account so I can cover the check. However, $440 of that is supposed to be sent to the College for the Gevertz fund. And I was trying to collect some extra money this year to cover the expenses for hosting the web site and to pay for the listserv. So I really need all you laggards who haven't sent in your $55 please to do it now.

We have 18 definite players for the Masters team and 18 definite players for the Supermasters team. The only really critical weakness is in the Masters defense. There are only 2 definite guys (Storkerson '88 and Chafee '84). Bart Riley '85 is on the fence, but hasn't yet committed, however, he was showing his wife the Spouses' page on our web site just yesterday so I am optimistic. Both teams really need a few more midfielders, but we have some time. In the end we might have to pick up some non Midd non Blue midfielders. Of course, all of this assumes that everyone who has signed up will show up. In reality this has never happened so all of this might be a bit too optimistic.
