I just found out why, within a 2 days period, my quoted airfare dropped from $373 to $311 - there is a price war. I don't know the full scope of the price war, but I was told that the major airlines are discounting flights to Denver. Price wars usually dosen't last long so you had better get online or on the phone and check out the prices.

If you don't get a price break or you don't get it done in time, you should contact Moguls Ski & Snowboard Tours. This agency has been selected by the Vail tournament organizers for booking accomodattions in Vail, air travel and ground transportation. They quoted a $350 fair for NYC to Denver. While I beat this with the price war fair, it is better than my pre-price war fare. Go online and get a price quote and then call or email them and see what they can do to match.

Please note that even though we pre-booked the Manor Vail Lodge at a good discount, if you are arriving before July 4th or staying after the tournament ends, you can use this agency to arrange alternate/cheaper housing.
