FYI - A number of the youngsters that played on independent non Midd teams at Vail 2000 have already started the ball rolling to put another Midd team on the field in the Elite Division for Vail 2001 - you might have met one or two of them at the Borgens - there was also a non Midd team of women playing under the title of SI (Sports Illus) for Women Double Vision (ask them for a translation) a large number of them were on Midd's Nat'l Lax Championship Team in 1999 so the quality of play and the talents they project will continue to enhance the impact and standards that your team has set.

I just want to say that you and your team are superb representatives for Middlebury and you set a new standard for any alumni group.

I wish we had taped the cheers from the younger members of your families as they came out to cheer you on! I was honored to be in the team photo and thank you for being there.

Without you there wouldn't have been a team or a chance to enjoy one of the best week-ends of the year - enjoy the rest of the summer.
